It addresses the gap between national digitalisation strategies and the current level of AI integration in higher education by modernising curricula and strengthening cooperation between universities, industry, and policymakers.

The project focuses on updating key academic areas, including artificial intelligence, big data, AI ethics, and applied AI in sectors such as healthcare and education. In parallel, it promotes practice-oriented learning through mentorship programmes, internships, and collaboration with industry partners.

EduCATIA also contributes to the development of a sustainable AI ecosystem by supporting research, innovation, and institutional capacity-building. Its outcomes include updated courses, trained academic staff, and the establishment of AI laboratories to support both teaching and applied research.

By enhancing educational quality and relevance, the project aims to equip graduates with the skills needed for an increasingly AI-driven economy while strengthening cooperation between the European Union and Central Asia.
